Composition

Each tablet contains:

• Montelukast Sodium IP
• Levocetirizine Hydrochloride IP

This formulation is commonly prescribed for the management of allergic conditions and respiratory allergies, providing effective relief from both nasal and systemic allergy symptoms.

Uses

Remont-LC Tablets is indicated for the treatment and prevention of:

• Allergic rhinitis (seasonal and perennial)
• Sneezing, runny nose, and nasal congestion
• Itchy or watery eyes
• Chronic urticaria (skin allergies and hives)
• Allergy-associated cough
• Asthma associated with allergic triggers (as adjunct therapy)

Dosage and Administration

• To be taken as prescribed by a registered medical practitioner
• Usually administered once daily, preferably in the evening
• Can be taken with or without food
• Tablet should be swallowed whole with water

Side Effects

Remont-LC is generally well tolerated. Possible side effects include:

• Drowsiness or sleepiness
• Dry mouth
• Headache
• Fatigue
• Nausea

Precautions

• Use with caution in patients with liver impairment
• May cause drowsiness; caution advised while driving or operating machinery
• Alcohol consumption should be avoided as it may increase sedation
• Not recommended during pregnancy and breastfeeding unless prescribed
• Should not be used as a substitute for acute asthma relief medication
